Hattieliv is an emerging British artist specialising in both digital work and multimedia painting and printmaking.

Her blend of physical creation and digital image manipulation were influenced by her fine art upbringing and more recent digital art and filmmaking experience.

 

Since the beginning of her career Hattieliv’s main motivation to create work her own personal creative itch and transfer passions and emotions visually to others. Growing up with dyslexia she often felt a communication barrier so chose to rely on visuals to get her thoughts across with clarity. Her work is often inspired my mental health awareness, pop culture, her Scottish heritage and current world issues.

 

Hattie started creating as a child always making the biggest junk model she could and slowing driving her parents insane by covering the house in paint or microwaving mud for as she needed realistic texture her latest creation. Her upbringing in fine art routed her love for painting and pencil realism. Her later training in digital image software and movie making consequently developed into her work to form her current mixed media style, enjoying crossing medias into each other overs such as fine art pieces within film sets.

 

Hattieliv is currently working on a BA(Hons) in Visual Communication whilst exhibiting work locally and collaborating on film projects. She intends to graduate and pursue a career in Art Direction for Film & TV.
